The employment law firm Jackson Lewis has launched a blog, the Workplace Privacy, Data Management & Security Report. The firm says the blog will be updated frequently to provide “the most up-to-date information on workplace privacy, data management and security developments around the country.” Just after its launch, for example, the blog reported on an investigation by a British television program on the sale of medical records, allegedly by small business process outsourcing companies in India, and linked to India’s Economic Times for details. The blog is edited by Joseph J. Lazzarotti, chair of the Jackson Lewis’ HIPAA and workplace privacy practice group, and receives regular posts from contributing attorneys around the country.
