People moving into key executive positions

Rodney Dillman has been named president at MassMutual International and senior vice president at MassMutual. He recently served as general counsel at Babson Capital Management and as corporate vice president and associate general counsel at MassMutual. Prior to joining Babson, Dillman was a partner at Day, Berry and Howard (now Day Pitney).

Michael Williams has been named dean of the Graduate School of Business at Touro College. He recently served as faculty chair of the human resource management, leadership and organizational development graduate programs at Capella University. Before joining Capella University, Williams was director of the financial planning program at Fordham University and founder of Strategic HRM.

 

Two appointments were made recently at the RightThing:
Jamie Minier has been named president at the RightThing. She recently served as COO. Before joining the RightThing, Minier worked as assistant vice president in the employment process outsourcing division at Aon Corp. and as a program account manager at Selective Staffing.

Jim Fox has been named director of human resources at the RightThing. He previously served as client account manager. Prior to joining the RightThing, Fox worked as a senior advisor in the HR and public sector practices at EquaTerra and as assistant vice president in the employment and recruitment process outsourcing division at Aon Consulting.


Alex White has been named director of recruitment at Benchmark Hospitality International. He recently served as director of human resources at Benchmark’s Hotel Contessa. Before joining Benchmark, White was director of human resources and property operations at Lajitas Resort and senior recruiter at Harrah’s Rincon Hotel and Casino.

Jim Crawford has been named a senior client partner in the global life sciences market at Korn/Ferry. He recently served as Midwestern regional president at Ken Clark International. Before joining Ken Clark, Crawford was vice president of human resources at Argent Healthcare Financial Services and a senior human resources leader at Chas. Levy Co., Eon Labs, Fujisawa Pharmaceutical and the operating room division at American Hospital Supply/Baxter Healthcare.

 

Two appointments were made recently at Buck Consultants: Martha DeMar has been named a partner in the San Francisco communication practice at Buck Consultants. She recently served as senior manager of health benefits and internal communications at Premera Blue Cross.

Jeff Bolter has been named a director in the Minneapolis office at Buck Consultants. He recently served as a senior consultant at Watson Wyatt. Before joining Watson Wyatt, Bolter was founder of BAB Consultants.


Niels Sodberg has been named vice president of client services at Right Management. He recently served as relationships manager at SAS Institute.

John Golden has been named president and CEO at Huthwaite. He recently served as senior vice president of education and business development at the Mortgage Bankers Association. Before joining the Mortgage Bankers Association, Golden was senior director of solutions management at CBT Systems, vice president of products and programs at New Horizons and vice president of the educational services division at Learning Sciences International.

Dean Hatfield has been named a senior vice president and health practice leader at Sibson Consulting. He recently served as Northeast regional vice president at UnitedHealthcare. Before joining UnitedHealthcare, Hatfield was Northeast regional health practice leader and principal at Buck Consultants.

Beverly Garofalo has been named a managing partner in the Hartford, Connecticut, office of Jackson Lewis. She recently served as a partner in the Hartford office of Thelen

Michael Richardson has been named chief technology officer at SelectMinds. He recently served as CTO at Sterling Infosystems. Before joining Sterling Infosystems, Richardson was CTO at Smart System Technologies, CTO at Eventra, vice president of the enterprise technology group at InterWorld and director of the payment systems development center for the VeriFone division at Hewlett-Packard.

Scott Sands has been named leader of the North American sales force effectiveness practice at Hewitt Associates. He recently served as leader of the sales effectiveness and compensation practice at Watson Wyatt Worldwide and as author of the WorldatWork book Sales Compensation Essentials.

Two appointments were made recently at Mercer:
Nick White has been named director of consulting for the Asia Pacific region of Mercer’s investment consulting division. He recently served as a principal in Mercer’s Sydney, Australia, office. Before joining Mercer, White was head of manager research at Aon Consulting in Sydney.

Steven Case has been named a senior consultant in the investment consulting division at Mercer. He recently served as practice leader at Evaluation Associates. Before joining Evaluation Associates, Case was managing director and senior consultant at CRA RogersCasey, vice president of performance analysis at AXA Financial/Equitable Life, senior vice president of strategic relationships at Putnam Investments and staff manager of pension investments at AT&T.


Dale Taormino has been named director of professional services at CCI. He recently served as manager of global partner programs at Mindjet Corp. Before Mindjet, Taormino worked as director of business development at FON Wireless.
